IDC spoke with organizations that have migrated aspects of their development activities to the Appian platform to support low-code development and intelligent process automation (IPA). Interviewed Appian customers reported that deployment of the platform made development activities significantly more effective and efficient by enabling low-code development and automation of processes. As a result, study participants reported improved ability to meet mdemands from their lines of business (LOBs) for highly functional and usable applications.
